Synthflow now sells through its sales team. As of September 2026 its pricing page lists a single tier, Enterprise contracts starting at $30,000 a year, and the earlier Pro, Growth and Agency plans are closed to new subscriptions. AgentVoice builds on Synthflow for clients who fit that contract, and for teams weighing Synthflow alternatives we build on Vapi, Retell AI, ElevenLabs Agents and Bland AI, or deploy our own engine in the client’s cloud.
Synthflow pricing in 2026
Synthflow says it “uses sales-led pricing,” and it doesn’t publish per-minute rates. Its pricing page says final pricing is “scoped around call volume, concurrency, telephony setup, integrations, security needs, and launch support.” An earlier version of this page listed Synthflow’s monthly plans, and those plans aren’t available to new customers.
Usage is metered per second and summed across calls. Calls that end with no answer or a hang-up on voicemail are recorded as a flat 5 seconds, failed calls aren’t billed, and for chat every 5 AI-generated messages count as one usage minute. The 5-second rule is worth knowing for outbound campaigns, where every unanswered dial is metered.
What Synthflow gives you to build with
Agents are built in Flow Designer, a node-based editor, or in Prompt Builder, and Synthflow’s docs say “you choose one mode per agent and cannot mix them.” Around those sit templates, JSON import, a multi-agent system, a visual Workflows builder for integrations, a Test Center with simulations, and version control. During a call the agent can run custom API actions, book appointments in real time, send SMS and WhatsApp messages, pull details out with information extractors, and remember past calls.
ElevenLabs is Synthflow’s default voice engine, with Flash v2 for English and Flash v2.5 for multilingual calls, and you can use Synthflow’s built-in ElevenLabs access or your own ElevenLabs key. Synthflow also has its own text-to-speech with 200 built-in voices. Telephony can run on Synthflow’s own numbers, Twilio, SIP, PBX systems such as 3CX, 8x8, Aircall and RingCX, or WhatsApp Business calling.
Synthflow is explicit about data location. Its US and EU clusters keep storage and compute in-region, a Global cluster stores data in the EU with compute in both, and Synthflow is retiring that Global cluster in Q4 2026. Cluster selection is permanent. The trust center lists SOC 2 Type 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, PCI DSS v4.0.1 and GDPR, and a BAA is signed at contract for customers who use the HIPAA setting.
Who Synthflow suits now
With a $30,000 annual floor, Synthflow is set up for companies that want a vendor account team alongside the software. Enterprise customers get “account team and launch support,” and Synthflow works through referral partners, BPOs, resellers, system integrators and technology partners. A business with steady call volume, a firm requirement for US or EU data residency and a procurement process that expects a signed contract fits that model well.
Agencies that resold Synthflow to their own clients should check their setup. Synthflow’s docs say white-label and agency features, including subaccounts, permissions, branding and a custom domain, are available “when included in your account setup,” and in-product reselling through Stripe was removed on September 15, 2026. An agency that billed clients through Synthflow now needs another way to bill them. If you want to offer voice agents under your own brand on an engine you license, that’s what our commercial license is for.
What a Synthflow build with us includes
We settle two things during scoping. An agent can’t mix Flow Designer and Prompt Builder, and a data cluster can’t be changed once it’s chosen, so both get decided before we build. Flow Designer suits calls with a fixed sequence, like appointment setting and intake, and Prompt Builder suits open conversations with fewer required steps. From there, the build covers:
- Screening spam calls and identifying callers before they reach your team
- Answering from a knowledge base built from your PDFs, documents, site pages or Zendesk help center
- Updating your CRM and tagging leads through custom actions
- Booking appointments in real time and sending the confirmation by SMS or WhatsApp
- Cold transfers, or warm transfers with a message or a summary for the person picking up
- Follow-up steps after each call through Synthflow's Workflows builder or your own webhooks
Outbound work needs extra care on Synthflow. Campaigns run through the Platform API with up to 10,000 recipients per request and are available on Enterprise plans. Leaving a voicemail only works when the greeting is set so the person speaks first, and IVR handling is still in beta and works only with keypad input, so we test those paths on real numbers before a campaign goes out. You hold the Synthflow contract directly, and we scope and price our build and tuning work as a separate project.
Synthflow alternatives, by situation
If the $30,000 floor is the obstacle, the pay-as-you-go platforms are the first place to look. Retell AI quotes $0.07 to $0.31 a minute with no subscription, and Vapi charges a $0.05 per-minute hosting fee plus provider costs. Both offer ElevenLabs voices, so an agent that uses an ElevenLabs voice on Synthflow can keep the same voice provider, and we cover how those two platforms compare on a separate page.
If you’d like one bundled rate, Bland AI’s Start and Build plans charge $0.14 and $0.12 a minute with the model and voice included. Bland uses its own voices, though, and puts warm transfers and SMS on Enterprise, as our Bland AI page explains.
If ElevenLabs voices are what you like about Synthflow, you can build on ElevenLabs directly. ElevenLabs Agents bills by call minute on self-serve plans, with extra minutes at $0.080 each and the language model billed on top.
If data residency or ownership drew you to Synthflow, check each alternative closely. Retell doesn’t operate in the EU, while Vapi runs a separate EU region. For call data inside infrastructure you own, ElevenLabs offers private deployments on AWS and Google Cloud, Bland offers VPC and on-premise deployment on Enterprise, and the AgentVoice engine runs in your Azure or AWS account or on your own servers under our own-cloud license, with the source code included.
